Our journey starts in Knäbäckshusen where we find beautiful St Nicholas Chapel. Knäbäckshusen is a small coastal village just south of Stenshuvud National Park. The village has its very own history. The village was originally at Knäbäcken in the northern part of Haväng, but when the firing range was expanded in the mid fifties so houses were moved to its current location.
The hike goes against the small fishing village Vik situated on a narrow strip of beach below the high sand hills, surrounded by orchards.
